How to use EasyWMV?

First, click ont the "Inspector" icon to display the Inspector window. Select the output format, mp4, mpg or iPod. Then you can choose the size of the converted video, either select "Original" to keep the same size as the original video, or choose "Custom Size" in the popup menu to select the size of your choice. Notice that if you select the iPod format, the only allowed size is 320 x 240.

If you change the size of the video, you can make sure the converted video will have the right aspect ratio by selecting the corresponding option in the inspector. Selecting "Pad video" will fill the video with black pixels if the aspect of the video doesn't match the video size.

You can optionally choose to deinterlace the picture, or use the H.264 codec if the chosen format is mp4 or iPod.

If you select the audio icon at the top of the Inspector window, this will display the available audio parameters.

You can choose to use a specific bit rate for the audio encoding, or let EasyWMV use the most appropriate value by selecting "Auto" in the popup menu.

Notice that if iPod format is selected, the maxium bit rate value allowed is 160 kbps.

Open the video files you want to convert by choosing "Open..." in the "File" menu, or simply drag and drop the files on EasyWMV window. Notice that you can directly open or drag and drop folders, EasyWMV will automatically look for all video files.

EasyWMV will create a new file with a ".mpg" or ".mp4" extension in the same folder as the original file (or on the Desktop if the folder is not writable). You can also choose to save converted file in the folder of your choice in EasyWMV's preferences:

EasyWMV provides iTunes integration: you can automatically add converted files to a playlist in iTunes. To do so, enable the option in the preferences window:
